Denise Haddaway, a native of Long Island, NY began her spa career in 2001, after 22 years as a health care provider.

A Maryland licensed Massage Therapist, Aesthetician, Fitness Instructor, and Integrative Health Coach, Denise’s personal vision was to market herself as a spa professional who is entrenched in every aspect of the spa culture.

Denise’s first taste of spa management was the opening of a boutique spa in the resort town of St. Michaels, MD, where she spent 4 years. Later, she would become the Spa Director for Belmond’s (formerly Orient Express Hotels) Inn at Perry Cabin, also in St. Michaels. During her time at the Inn, Denise was selected for Belmond’s Leadership Development Program. She was also Vice President of the St. Michaels Business Association, and sat as a board member of the St. Michaels Tourism board. In addition, Denise was actively involved with the International Spa Association (ISPA) where she has served on the Membership Taskforce, Speaker Taskforce, and is a 2014 Innovate Award recipient. She played an integral part in the development of the Spa at The Chesapeake Bay Beach Club and is the former Director of the Spa of Colonial Williamsburg.

After over a decade of working in management, Denise decided it was time to return to the treatment room, where her passion can be found helping people look and feel their best.

Denise is a mother to two grown children, a grandparent to 2 adorable babies, and enjoys skiing, cycling, photography, travel, boating and weight training.
